Absolute Awakenings is a treatment center serving clients with addiction and primary mental health disorders with multiple levels of structured care. They treat each client as an individual and strive to heal the conditions’ underlying factors. Absolute Awakenings uses various evidence-based and holistic therapies to offer a comprehensive treatment experience, emphasizing their focus on addressing primary mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more.
Structured Care Tailored to Individual Needs
Absolute Awakenings provides initial medical and psychiatric evaluations and ongoing clinical assessments, focusing on primary mental health conditions alongside addiction treatment. They connect clients to detox services before starting treatment at Absolute Awakenings when needed. In their day treatment program, clients attend treatment 5+ days a week, for 6-8 hours daily. In intensive outpatient, clients attend 3-5 days weekly for 10-20 hours total. Their general outpatient program welcomes clients once or twice a week for continuous support, therapy, and check-ins. The amount of time in each program and therapy schedule depends on each client’s needs, with particular attention to mental health needs.
Evidence-Based Treatments
Absolute Awakenings uses multiple evidence-based therapies to help clients heal from addiction and its underlying causes, with a significant focus on primary mental health disorders. These therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Gestalt therapy, interpersonal therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques. Clients attend group, 1:1, and family therapy throughout treatment. Absolute Awakenings’ experienced staff includes a psychologist, licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, therapists, psychiatric nurse, case managers, clinical hypnotherapist, and a yoga/meditation instructor.
