Founded in 2010, Alta Mira treats clients in a historic building just minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, California. Alta Mira offers medical detox, a family program, a 10-day detox and assessment service, a core residential program, and life-long continuing care. Clients receive a full-person approach to addiction rehabilitation. Their highly trained staff address neurobiological, psychological, social, physical and spiritual aspects of addiction.
Comprehensive Treatment for Lasting Success
Alta Mira uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), experiential therapy, and trauma-focused therapies. Clients receive 2 individual therapy sessions each week, plus daily group sessions. A 3-day family program welcomes family members for intensive healing. Educational classes and holistic services focus on the body and mind. Alta Mira also hosts intensive workshops addressing authenticity, spirituality, and process addictions.

Alta Mira focuses on intensive, whole-person recovery. To accomplish this, they begin treatment with clinical assessments and evaluations for accurate diagnoses. Their staff of masters and doctoral-level therapists, psychiatrists, and physicians ensure that clients then receive the best treatment for their unique needs.
