Nestled just inland from the Pacific Ocean, Apex Recovery is a premier, boutique-style treatment center that offers residential care and outpatient services in a luxury setting. Apex Recovery specializes in treating drug and alcohol addiction along with depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, LGBT issues, and grief. Treatment begins with medical detox that involves monitoring and support during withdrawal. Once clients have stabilized, the focus of the treatment plan turns to finding the underlying root causes of the substance abuse.

The program combines evidence-based therapies with holistic methods to help treat the whole mind, body, and spirit. Clients experience traditional talk therapy, group therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), seeking safety, and holistic experiences like animal therapy, yoga, sound therapy, and meditation. Although the program is not based on 12-Step philosophy, clients can choose to attend AA/NA if they desire.

The residential program has 2 gender-specific housing options that are modern and spacious. The luxury accommodations have both private and semi-private rooms that house up to 8 people. Some rooms include walkout balconies that overlook the beautiful surrounding mountains of San Diego, California. The facilities boast a variety of amenities and comforts like a pool, a hot tub, and cozy common areas with comfortable couches and a big screen TV. Gourmet meals are prepared by in-house chefs, and clients also receive a gym membership upon attendance. During the residential phase, clients can also engage in sober outings with groups like going to the movies, shopping, or heading to the local beach.

The delivery of therapeutic services utilizing technology such as video conferencing, online messaging or phone calls, allowing for flexibility, comfort and increased access to care.
Co-Occurring Mental Health
