Stay Supported After Treatment

At Beachside Rehab, aftercare planning begins at the start of treatment to prevent relapse and ensure a smooth transition into daily life. I would not recommend this place. The website is all nice and uses nice pictures of only a small part of the treatment process. The detox place is in a slummy part of town. The partial hospitalization homes are beautiful (like the pictures) but once going to IOP and being in a House, the accommodations quality drops tremendously. I was not treated as well as I feel I should have been. I was given false positives on urinalyses. Without them researching that taking SSRI medicines can produce false positives for benzos. I was in the IOP status living in a sober hours. They kicked me all the way back to Detox for several days, then back to PHP. After having a few negatives, they would not let me return to the IOP house but lead me to believe I would/could. It was not a pleasant experience. Website is very misleading. Strength: Good group content. Weaknesses: Poor management, non empathetic staff.

This was a great experience. The staff was wonderful and helpful every step of the way. I was very impressed with the facilities and everyones desire to do better. I now have a better understanding of why I allowed addiction to rule my life for so long. My journey is only beginning but I finally have hope.
