This place saved my life, my marriage, and my career. There are several bad reviews in addition to good reviews, but I think that there are going to be unhappy clients everywhere and maybe even more when dealing with mental health. Just because they are in the business of helping people with addiction doesn't mean that they do not need money. It would be nice if it was cheaper, but that is not something that is specific to Bradford. I would also like to add that I have been to 2 treatment centers. To me Bradford was definitely luxurious compared to the 1st treatment center I went to. I've never been to these beach resort treatment centers, so maybe those are nicer. Maybe the perception niceness or luxurious changes depending on your level of desperateness. I don't know. What I do know is that my therapist as well as other staff that were there at the time were highly trained professionals with in depth knowledge of the disease (Addiction). When I went to treatment I asked them to keep me as long as possible so that I could get well. That was almost 8 years ago and today I have a beautiful family, my career is still intact, and I "trudge the road of Happy Destiny" (Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous).

Review from Rehabs.com

The Steps of Faith program at Bradford in Warrior Alabama is amazing. It helped my loved one reconnect with God. The organization of this facility is Amazing. They admittance procedure was handled professionally and with caring staff members. The doctors and counselors see patients on a regular basis during in-patient stay. I would recommend the Steps of Faith to anyone struggling with addiction or co-occurring disorders. The 12 Steps is good, but the Steps of Faith goes one step further by emphasizing that Jesus Christ is that Higher Power and that patients can have a personal walk with Jesus Christ. This is the answer to addiction. I've taken my loved one to several dual treatment facilities and this one tops them all. Thank you for offering this Christian alternative treatment plan.

Review from Rehabs.com

If you or your loved one want to get better? This MAY work. I hate to be pessimistic but being realistic. Counselors are never available for any type of update & never spoke with a nurse or Dr. regarding the detox drugs administered to my loved one. I was on the release for information but was worried CONSTANTLY due to lack of a comprehensive approach to treatment. All they want is your money & the lack of exercise & other healthy lifestyle alternatives during treatment is null. I realize rehab shouldn’t be a SPA, however, getting up @ 6am & loud TV still playing until 11:00pm is NOT condusive to rest that an addicts poor brains NEED. Without exercise & extra sleep their bodies & minds cannot begin to heal! I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone unless it’s a last resort. Some patients only stay for a week or 2 so if they test positive it’s just considered “still in system” from BEFORE they were admitted. Payment department very helpful of course but Counselors, Nurses & Dr.’s are never available. The living environment needs more supervision & patients need more sleep! I am guilt ridden this is where my loved one is & have a terrible feeling about the actual effectiveness & true benefits. Pray to GOD there is another option available.

We love hearing about your treatment experience
