Entering the center, I was quite nervous and unsure of what to expect. It felt like my last chance after hitting rock bottom. However, I was met with an incredibly warm and friendly welcome from not just the staff, but also the other residents. Initially, I doubted it would make a significant difference and expected my life to continue as usual after leaving. However, the combination of various counseling sessions, journaling, and attending both on-site and off-site AA/NA/CA meetings at CCFA truly helped me focus on myself and discover a new purpose in life. I now speak proudly to others about my journey and experience at the center. If you are considering a treatment center to improve your life, I highly recommend the Canadian Centre for Addiction. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I had there, and I am confident it can provide anyone with the necessary "push" to climb out of the hole they may feel trapped in.

My experience at CCFA was truly amazing! The staff are all very friendly and flexible with accommodations. The clinical staff are very professional and the counselors can truly relate and offer individualized care based on one's needs. The atmosphere in the house was also very welcoming to newcomers. The programming is very thorough and there's other options if 12 steps aren't your preferred recovery path. I've built some good connections and was set up for success once leaving. You definitely get a lot out of the program if you put the work in.The food is outstanding as well. Buffet style every meal and the quality is top notch. My only complaint is the lack of resources available if staff are to take time off. The on-site Psychotherapist needed time off and the center was very ill prepared to adapt to the situation.

It warms our heart that your experience at Canadian Centre for Addictions was Truly Amazing! We pride ourselves with providing the very best in addictions recovery treatment; and it was nice to hear that you enjoyed the meals prepared by our Chef! Thank you for the review.

After years of bad choices, I finally made a great one. I had 'tried' quitting before, but only once I came here was it a sincere attempt to give up booze and drugs. By investing 45 days at CCfA, I gave myself a chance to not just get sober, but start an actual path to recovery. I came here for addiction treatment, but I didn't expect it to change my life in such profound ways. I will forever be grateful for the staff, and the other people in the fellowship, for allowing me to unburden myself during group shares, and process the reasons I chose to escape life through substances. Now, I'm choosing to live, not escape.
