Insurance

Provider's Policy

Changes GGZ accepts most insurance and you may be reimbursed if you have already hit their deductible. We are happy to help you with the process and the reimbursement.

Set at the historic Van Horne military barracks national heritage site, Changes GGZ's Weert clinic offers addiction treatment just southwest of downtown Weert. This clinic treats adult clients seeking treatment primarily for substance use (including alcohol, prescription medications, and other drugs), but they also can help clients with co-occurring addictions like gambling, porn, sex, social media, or binge-eating.

Thorough Detox

For clients in detox, Changes' detox program runs 1 to 3 weeks. (Most detox programs at other centers transition to residential care at 7 days.) Changes performs a physical exam at the beginning of treatment to determine a detox plan. After detox, clients can do additional treatment at this location or Changes' Breda location.

Semi-Structured Residential Days

Changes' residential program lasts 6 weeks, or longer if needed. Clients participate in evidence-based therapies that incorporate the principles from 12-Steps programming and the Minnesota Model. Group therapy and individual meetings with a clinician help clients change their thought patterns and develop self-confidence. Some hands-on therapies that help with recovery are art, music, boxing, dance, and sound therapies.

They take motivated clients, including people who have tried outpatient treatment.

Day Treatment for Nearby Clients

Changes GGZ's day treatment program offers similar therapies to the residential program but at a lower intensity designed to help clients transition into long-term recovery. Clients who live within an hour of the clinic can participate. For the first 12 weeks, clients come 3 times a week. Then they come once a week. Clients learn strategies to support their long-term recovery and prevent relapse.

Medically Minded Team

The staff at this location includes therapists, psychologists, doctors, nurses, social workers, and pet dogs.

Ready Soon

The wait time for admission is less than 2 weeks. For detox clients, they usually just need a few days after the diagnosis and somatic exam to admit.
