Cornerstone Healing Center is committed to helping people with addiction and mental health conditions heal mind, body, and spirit. They offer inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and virtual IOP programs customized to meet each client’s needs. Their evidence-based, goal-oriented approach addresses both the presenting disorder and its underlying causes, integrating trauma-informed care, personal accountability, and structured support.

Integrate Therapy, Wellness, & Personal Growth

Cornerstone takes a whole-person approach to healing, blending traditional treatment with innovative methods to address both addiction and mental health challenges. Clients engage in therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), alongside holistic practices such as yoga, art, and music therapy. Their structured, goal-oriented model also includes practical education in financial literacy, career development, and communication skills.

Achieve Recovery Without Maintenance Meds

Cornerstone’s abstinence-based approach helps clients break free from both substances and maintenance medications, like Suboxone, Subutex, and Vivitrol. With medical monitoring and comfort medications as needed, most clients are substance-free within two weeks. They can experience true sobriety in a safe environment, process emotions without numbing, and leave treatment without needing maintenance meds.

Find Healing in a Serene Desert Setting

Cornerstone’s treatment takes place in beautiful homes in Scottsdale’s high-end neighborhoods, as well as a clinical office. Residents stay in shared bedrooms and enjoy chef-prepared meals and scenic desert views. Clients have access to a pool, patio, and a large fitness facility. Therapy spaces include group learning rooms and private offices to support both collective healing and individual growth.

Sober Living
Not Offered at This Center
Transitional housing designed to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders offering a safe, supportive and structured environment for practicing long-term sobriety, while reintegrating back into daily living.

Virtual & In-Home Care
The delivery of therapeutic services utilizing technology such as video conferencing, online messaging or phone calls, allowing for flexibility, comfort and increased access to care.
Licensed Primary Mental Health
Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Co-Occurring Disorders
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.

Cornerstone Healing Center changed my life! I was in a place of brokenness and frustrated with life in general. This place is like striking gold. Cornerstone came into my life at a time when I couldn't see any way up. I followed the programs principles and was able to finally process the events from my past that once left me stuck and depleted. With intensive therapy and support staff, my path is now full of hope and opportunities to soar. Not only that, after completing IOP5 successfully and going home, I was able to continue my healing process through virtual IOP. Sam, Alex, and Vanessa made sure that I was confident with moving forward through this highly recommend journey to recovery. It is possible, and available to anyone. You will be challenged to push through your past traumas and pain, stay encouraged. One day at a time, before you know it, you will have arrived in the world for the first time as the very best version of yourself, and you deserve it!

My experience at Cornerstone was incredible. I felt welcomed and encouraged to start to become vulnerable in the group therapy sessions. The individual therapy was insightful with practical steps to start the healing process from deep seeded trauma and my past. My favorite part of my experience at this treatment center was how they not only addressed my mental and emotional well being, but they also helped me with my physical (Physical fitness and yoga daily) and spiritual well being in a variety of ways (12 step recovery, daily meditation, an option for church etc.) The staff has made an art form out of finding the core issues as to why I drink/use drugs and then allowed me the safety to explore those unhealed areas of my life. I feel extremely grateful for the Staff there. They truly care about you as a human being.

Cornerstone is a HEALING center, with the goal of getting to the underlying root of the issue causing the substance abuse. All of my opinions of CHC are based on comparison to my experience with other treatment centers. The program is geared toward an entire lifestyle change. They do not plateau the treatment at “just not drinking and using”. Routine, structure, scheduling….. With a focus on repairing and strengthening the mind AND BODY. Exercise and healthy eating habits are strongly promoted…. Required actually. The lengths they go to keep us connected, after completing, are unmatched. The staff genuinely cares about me. They care about my loved ones. I feel like Cornerstone is actually rooting for me. Beautiful facilities, compassionate staff, it’s just full of love. T.D.

I’ve been sober before. I’ve been to treatment before. I’ve done EMDR and cognitive-behavioral therapy before. I’ve had sponsors and have attended 100s of 12-step meetings.I was 5 years sober at one point. Was sober again for 2 years when I relapsed on pain medication prescribed for a bad back. I’ve had 20 or 30 sobriety dates over the years..I’m no expert on recovery, but I am an addict. I’ve struggled for years to get and to stay on track. I’ve dragged loved ones and kids along with me on my path. My intermittent years of sobriety have somewhat shielded the horrors of active addiction from my family and children, but even in my times of abstinence I’ve carried a weight with me that affected those around me.I came into Cornerstone 2 days after having back surgery. Sead came to my house and sat with me and my wife, helped around the house, and played PlayStation with my son for those 2 days until I was well enough to get into treatment. When I was able to enter treatment I was met with the love and support of the entire staff. There’s no place like Cornerstone. Every staff member, from the CEO to the client liaisons, is actively engaged in the recovery process of each one of the clients. Every staff member cares.I want to give a special acknowledgement to my therapist Karen. She’s a Jedi. With her help and the help of the other staff members I was able to uncover things about myself that were hardly touched upon in previous treatments. I’ve entered back into my life, my family, and my career as a new person.Thank you Cornerstone for my new life.

I came into cornerstone healing center with zero insight of what to expect from rehab. All I knew was I was broken, always angry and constantly living in misery and depression. I never knew there was a side of life i had yet to discover. Being 23 years old, I was but was not ready to give up the only lifestyle I knew. However something had to give, from the 1st day to the 60th day I spent there I was shown how to recreate my life physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I was given hope, I was treated like family and shown love regardless of the things I put on the table to be judged. I am blessed with a sponsor who himself completed the cornerstone program, all I had to do was have a desire and be willing to do things another man’s way and I was promised a new life in return. I write this review being 11 months sober and trying to sit here and write how great my life is words wouldn’t even be able to explain it. I have rekindled family relationships, become a good employee and on my way too becoming an employer. I can be an honest young man with integrity. I have the privilege of now showing other men and young men the golden ticket that awaits them all we need is the desire for change. I owe my new life to god and cornerstone, without this program there’s only 2 possible places I’d be. To ice the cake even graduating the PHP program I attended an IOP program for 8 weeks reassuring me cornerstone had my back even in the real world. I am close to many of the staff and look at cornerstone healing center as a home of mine and they treat me no different.
