I am leaving a one star only because of one staff member and the facility! My son just left this facility( River Rd location) and not under the circumstances we had hoped for. I want to share I have worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse in various roles for years. I currently work in a residential program and so this field is my passion and current daily vocation. I have also been a client and am now a family member. I know a thing or two regarding how things should and should not go! . First, let me say CH did provide a safe and comfortable medical detox. Jennifer Sudak in Quality Management was prompt to return calls and seems to be the only person on staff that can provide straight forward answers. My son, his Dad, and I also felt the facility was acceptable. I have heard great things about CH during my career, I'm currently wondering why. My son and I will own that my son presented some concerning behaviors during the last 2 days of his stay. However, it is the after effects that I'm upset about. My son's therapist (Abby Heiskell, not sure of sp of last name) was very frustrating to deal with. All I seemed to get from her was "I don't know, I'm not sure. and I can't speak to that") I find that unacceptable!!!!! What I would learn is that she did know more than what she shared regarding the potential outcome of his case. My son wanted to leave early and I understand the concerns surrounding that. I talk to folks all day everyday about the importance of c
