helps the person with the treatment as well as the family. Great scenery and atmosphere. Knowledgeable and helpful counselors. Food was generic so everyone can eat the same thing. Puts you in an atmosphere that you don't need alcohol or drugs to feel relaxed. Conselors help you think of the serene places when you feel anxiety coming on.

I think they should provide counselors who advocate alternatives to the 12 step model. It is a very clean, safe environment with caring counselors that help you figure out how to achieve sobriety. It is expensive (hardly the facility's fault) treatment that only focuses on 12 steps. I have been sober over two years now without AA.

Strengths of the facility included: class staff, counselling, accommodations, food. It was worth the cost because of their 47 years of experience, it is family run and there is excellent staff and care. I chose this facility because my wife studied various facility's and found many favorable reviews for Duffy's.
