Provider's Policy

Evolve works with most private insurance companies on an in-network and out-of-network basis. We talk to your insurance provider and advocate for you to maximize your benefits at every level of care. For BlueCross BlueShield, we accept Anthem, Premera Blue Cross, and Blue Shield of California.

At Evolve Mount Helix, teens ages 12–17 find a place to be understood and supported while working through mental health, substance use, or behavioral challenges. With space for only six teens at a time, care is never crowded. Stays usually last 45–60 days and include round-the-clock supervision, regular therapy sessions, and support from psychiatry and nursing staff. Beyond traditional therapies, teens get to explore equine therapy, art, music, yoga, surfing, hiking, and more.

Tailor Treatment to Match Each Teen’s Journey

At Evolve, they give teens the tools and insights to change their lives. Every teen’s plan is built around their specific needs, combining psychiatry with therapies like DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing. This mix is intentional, layered, and flexible, giving teens exactly what they need. Families are part of the process too, learning the same skills so home becomes a place of understanding, not conflict. By weaving together these approaches, Evolve helps teens carry a sense of hope long after treatment ends.

Give Teens Room to Rest, Play, and Heal

In the quiet Mt. Helix neighborhood, teens stay in a spacious home designed with both comfort and care in mind. The house has a fully equipped gym for workouts or yoga, a gated pool with trained safety staff, and a big outdoor area with games and a sport court. Daily meals are prepared by an in-house chef, giving teens the fuel they need to feel their best. Bedrooms are set up to encourage healthy sleep and rest. And with a dedicated school room complete with computers, teens can keep up with academics.

Transform Hard-Won Skills into a Lasting Future

Aftercare is designed so that teens are not left alone after finishing residential treatment. Instead, the transition is carefully planned, with options for outpatient care, ongoing therapy and regular check-ins. Evolve also offers online therapy throughout the state of California, so that care can continue with a commute.

Testimonial
This feels like the beginning of a new chapter of hope for our child, and for us as their family. We know there will be ups and downs and that their journey is a marathon, not a sprint, but this feels like the beginning of an important shift and one that I want to acknowledge here. They have learned tools for their path to success at Evolve. That is no small thing. From the admissions team, who worked often tirelessly with us during the admission process, to our assigned therapist and his Psychiatrist, along with the whole host of amazing staff at the house who worked so hard to make my child feel welcomed and comfortable in their temporary home space, every single team member has showed us as a family: kindness, compassion, understanding, respect & trust

Create Peace of Mind through Safety
Create Peace of Mind through Safety
At Evolve, safety is the foundation of care. Teens are always supported through close supervision, high staff-to-teen ratios, and overnight monitoring. Sharp objects and any unsafe items are securely locked away, and regular checks keep every space secure. These measures give families peace of mind and allow teens to focus on what really matters.
Turn Struggle into Stronger Family Connections
Turn Struggle into Stronger Family Connections
Teens and parents come together in weekly sessions, helping rebuild trust and strengthen connections that may feel lost. Families learn what their teen is going through, and they practice the same skills their teen is learning, so everyone begins speaking the same language of support. Instead of walking on separate paths, families grow closer, turning treatment into a shared journey.
Give Teens the Tools to Thrive Academically
Give Teens the Tools to Thrive Academically
Every day there’s dedicated time set aside for homework and school tasks, giving teens a chance to reclaim their studies. Evolve works hand-in-hand with schools so teens don’t fall behind, and also provides well-equipped spaces—computers, books, printers, and desks—where they are able to focus and make progress.
Lift the Weight of Depression with Care that Feels Personal
Lift the Weight of Depression with Care that Feels Personal
The team at Evolve works specifically with teens who experience persistent sadness, low motivation, mood changes, or feeling stuck and overwhelmed by daily life. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Evolve creates individualized treatment plans that combine evidence-based therapies, peer-based group support, and meaningful family involvement to address what’s driving depression underneath.
