Genesis House’s Florida location provides warm weather, ocean breezes, and a variety of on-site and off-site activities. Their volleyball court and pool provide perfect ways to stay active during treatment and soak up the sun, while the privacy and intimacy of their campus allow every aspect to be enjoyed in complete confidentiality. During an inpatient stay, clients will attend group and individual therapy, receive care from Genesis’ psychiatrist, and learn trauma-healing techniques. Medications may be used during and after detox to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Holistic approaches at Genesis House include yoga, massage therapy, and animal-assisted therapy. Each stage of treatment is overseen by a member of their highly qualified staff–someone who is compassionate, empathetic, and full of the knowledge and expertise clients need to recover in comfort.

Genesis House firmly believes that recovery and sobriety can be–and are–fun. To prove this, they embark on adventures to the beach, play each other in volleyball or billiards tournaments, or relax under the care of a licensed masseuse and yoga instructor.
