I recently completed a 30 day program @ GRC and I felt this was a life changing experience. The overall intake and detox process was very smooth. Trained nurses, compassionate RA's took good care of me and kept me safe with periodic monitoring during withdrawals. Exit detox, enter --> process groups(run by a therapist) with a closed group of a maximum 6-7 (separate for men/women).This is the best part of the day which is from 9 - 11 30 with 10 min breaks closer to the hour. Followed by lunch between 12 -1 pm. I will cover the food part separately as this was truly a five star experience. The afternoon slots are psychoed sessions from 1 - 5pm with focus on skills, strategies, techniques . On specific days of the week/weekend you will have medical lecture, community group, men/women only process, LGBTQ, meditation, dharma recovery, yoga, therapeutic activities. Then comes the supper time between 5 - 6 pm. There is an optional AA/NA meeting after supper. Food experience At Mulligans was truly 5 star. EC Matthew is unique in his presentation of the spread. If you luv Italian, you will rejoice every dish. The villas are brand new with different themes based on countries and has a very high aesthetic appeal. I forgot to mention few more, friday night karaoke, pickleball, gym, basket/volley ball, walking/jogging track. overall i felt it was a safe place for recovery with experienced, talented, caring professionals . Would highly recommend this place to begin your recovery journey.

The facilities were amazing--brand new pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts, yoga studio, gym, walking track, and 160 acres to explore while not in group. My therapist practiced Freudian psychology and really helped me uncover, discover, and discard that which was no longer serving me. The food was INCREDIBLE: each meal was plated and garnished, better than most restaurants I've been to in the area. Executive Chef Matt is Michelin-trained and taught us a weekly course about something related to the history of different types of cooking/cuisine/dishes. Loved my experience at GRC.
