Sober Living
Not Offered at This Center
Transitional housing designed to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders offering a safe, supportive and structured environment for practicing long-term sobriety, while reintegrating back into daily living.
Day Treatment
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Intensive Outpatient Program
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) falls between inpatient care and traditional outpatient services, with therapy and skills-building activities designed to support recovery and provide flexibility. IOP is ideal for those needing support but not the 24/7 care of a residential facility.

Intensive Inpatient
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Co-Occurring Mental Health
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.

First and foremost, everyone at GBAC has been outstanding and wonderful. I have worked closely with James Deane and he has been nothing short of amazing. James has helped me through the process of getting my loved one the correct help that they needed. James quickly took myself and my loved one under his wing and made us feel comfortable and secure. Recovery can be a scary thing at first but at GBAC everyone makes you feel loved and at home. I know there is no where better than GBAC for my loved one to receive the help that they need. I cannot thank James enough for truly impacting my family than he has in such a short period of time. Look no where else but here for your recovery. You will be in great hands!

James is the wholesome welcoming individual I have met through any program. It was extremely nerve-wracking making the first call but I was greeted with immense support as soon as James answered. I can confidently say that this program is not just a job for him by the way he treats people with care and respect. I did not feel like I was ready for treatment but GBAC is definitely the place where I feel I will succeed most.

Alcohol
I have never been through the process of addiction recovery before. I googled "Rehab for alcohol in Greater Boston" and came across a number. I called this number and reached James Deane. Right off the bat my anxiety was eased. I have never spoke to more of a caring, professional, and emotionally intelligent man than James. I seriously do not know what I would have done if I did not have James to help guide me and my mom and loved ones through this. From checking in when he does not have to, to giving me respectful advice when I have asked, he's truly amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Words do not express how much James deserves a promotion or whatever y'all do!!!

This was a journey that was very new to me but needed help for my son. From the first phone call, my son and I both felt like we were on the right path. Brendan answered the phone and clicked right away with my son and provided clear and honest answers to all of our questions. This was such a far cry from the other places where were just left messages. A live person answered and help walk us through a path. This service and friendly voice at the end of the line were a huge relief. Brendan was incredible with both my son and me.
