Greenhouse Treatment Center in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area offers a clear path toward a healthier, sober life. The program supports people with addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions, beginning with medical detoxification and continuing through residential treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Specialized tracks for veterans, first responders, trauma, LGBTQIA+ clients, and Christian recovery, serving the unique needs of each population.

Develop Skills for Daily Recovery

Days at Greenhouse revolve around clinician-led groups, skill-building, and peer accountability, with recovery meetings and reflection in the evening. Programming focuses on emotional regulation, decision-making, communication, and repairing family relationships, with 12-Step meetings woven into the week. For clients managing ongoing mental health conditions alongside addiction, the Personalized and Therapeutic Healing (PATH) program provides outpatient care at the PHP and IOP level, focused on psychiatric stability and daily functioning.

Settle into Comfort at a Former Spa

Greenhouse emphasizes comfort from the moment clients arrive, with an upscale lobby, welcoming accommodations, and spaces designed for both privacy and connection. The Grand Prairie campus features pools, shaded courtyards, and outdoor gathering areas, reflecting its roots as a former spa. Chef-prepared meals and comfortable lounges support daily routines and relaxation between sessions. Many clients fly into DFW or Love Field, with transportation arranged to campus.

Stay Connected While Returning to Daily Life

After residential treatment, clients may continue care at Greenhouse’s Arlington outpatient facility through PHP or IOP while returning to daily responsibilities. Aftercare planning includes ongoing therapy, peer connection, and access to a recovery app with check-ins and relapse-prevention tools. Alumni programming maintains connection after discharge, and the 90-Day Promise offers an added safety net if additional treatment is needed for clients who complete 90 consecutive days of care.

Had a great time. Solid recovery to be had here. The food is really good. I also was surprised with how nice the rooms were. I would recommend greenhouse to anyone. The only issue I had was with the medication lines and temporary staff.

Review from Rehabs.com

I came to Greenhouse Treatment Center in early November 2022. This was my first time in residential treatment and I was anxious and apprehensive. I did not know what to expect and had some reservations about what the environment would be like, concerns about safety, and what the other residents would be like. From the first phone call, AAC treated my with kindness and empathy. All my questions were answered, my transportation to Greenhouse was set up, and my insurance coverage was verified so that I had no surprises when I got there. The intake department did a good job during admissions and answered all my questions. The facilities at Greenhouse are top notch, indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness center, and beautiful grounds. The rooms are very nice, the housekeeping staff cleans the rooms and facility daily. Laundry service is provided twice a week. The food at Greenhouse is cooked by a gourmet chef. The menu has something for everyone and plenty of variety. The care provided by the clinical team is personalized to the client and their needs. I was in a specialized program for veterans and first-responders. The connection I made with the other people in that group greatly contributed to the understanding of my past trauma and how it affected my addiction. I would recommend Greenhouse Treatment Center to anyone who is facing difficulties with addiction and/or mental health. They saved my life and I will be forever grateful.
