Provider's Policy

Hanley Center works with many private insurance plans that offer out-of-network benefits. While we are not in-network with any insurance provider and do not accept Medicare or Medicaid, we do accept out-of-network benefits.

Hanley Center helps adults regain health and hope through age- and gender-specific care for addiction and mental health. Their peaceful, tropical campus provides a setting where healing feels possible. The Patriots Initiative supports veterans and first responders, while Casa Flores empowers pregnant women and nurtures mother-child bonds. In addition to specialized addiction treatment, Hanley offers a dedicated mental health track, giving clients the opportunity to focus fully on psychiatric needs.

Engage Mind, Body, and Spirit in Healing

Hanley blends medically managed detox with trauma-informed therapies and whole-person healing. Clients engage in approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to build healthier habits and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help process trauma. Spiritual care and 12-Step groups support spiritual restoration and peer connection. Hanley’s on-site Center for Brain Recovery enriches care with neurofeedback and psychological testing to promote healing at the brain level, supporting both mind and body.

Heal in an Environment that Restores Peace

The lush, 14-acre campus creates a serene, healing environment. Clients can relax and connect in the gazebo, swim in the palm-lined pool, or reflect while walking the labyrinth. The jogging path and walking trail support overall wellness in recovery, while proximity to St. Mary’s Medical Center ensures emergency support. The admissions team will help coordinate the client’s travel details, including a sober escort and transportation from local airports.

Be Prepared for Long-Term Stability

At Hanley Center, staff begin planning for aftercare from the moment treatment starts. Each patient works closely with an alumni care coordinator and a therapist to build an aftercare plan that fits individual needs. With the patient’s permission, the care coordinator also connects with loved ones and professionals to strengthen support. Plans may include counseling, medical follow-up, family support, safe housing, or peer resources, helping patients stay on track after treatment.

The Hanley Center was a life changing experience. I learned a lot about the disease of addiction. The staff was great including the medical staff. The therapists helped me to learn to be honest and develop self worth. The classes were very informative about living life without substance abuse. The food was good and offered alot of choices. The entire program had an excellent format. I would encourage anyone seeking help to go to the Hanley Center

Review from Rehabs.com

I checked into the West Palm Beach location in August of 2017. My treatment spanned 6 weeks which was partially paid for by my health insurance. Today I celebrate 4 years sober. That said, I am aware it could all end with a single slip. This is a great program and a well-qualified team to help you achieve success. As they say, you have to be willing to do the work to achieve long-term success. They do give you the tools. If you are looking for a magic treatment to eliminate your drug use - forget it! I personally attempted to quit 100+ times (maybe 200!). It was here that I finally woke up and found my path. Some will get it and others won’t but you owe it to yourself to try! My wife and two sons are equally thankful for their guidance and care. God bless you in your quest for sobriety.

The positives are that the facilities and food are excellent. The treatment is self care. The patients basically run the programs with very little input from staff. Medical care is excellent. Except for psychiatry which is almost non-existent. Expensive but worth it if staff was more involved. Never a better example of the worst cases getting most attention.

Hanley is a decent place, very nice people, but certainly not for all. If someone wants or needs anything custom or specific for therapy, look elsewhere. Hanley is basically an expensive AA meeting with very little individual therapy. Which may be ok for some. Otherwise their program of good meals, massages, reflexology, followed by AA meetings and watching Ted Talks can be created pretty much anywhere. The center is extremely financially oriented to the point of embarrassment of how often they ask for money or parents money or other very quick payment methods. Cannot say it is a bad place, but certainly not generally effective, nor a compelling place for the help many need. Unfortunately for similar people that have been to several name places, this would be at the bottom of the list.
