Testimonial
Harmony Place is the best treatment center I have ever been to, out of the 7 times I have been to treatment. The staff is amazing and truly cares about every single person in the program. This is also the first time I’ve ever felt like my voice was being heard regarding issues. The Community Meeting is great, Jeff and Mary Lou really do listen and do their best to accommodate every client. Through Harmony Place I was able to rediscover myself and become more confident in my abilities to stay clean and sober. The amount of groups and the topics are excellent.

Knowing many people turn to drugs or alcohol to cope with their mental health symptoms, Harmony Place treats co-occurring mental health conditions. The most common issues they address include depression, anxiety, impulse control, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Harmony Place provides an individualized treatment program, whether the client has already been diagnosed with a mental health disorder or one is diagnosed while in addiction treatment. Harmony Place’s experienced team is able to identify and treat the actions, emotions, and behaviors that led to the client’s addiction, enhancing long-term recovery.
Restore the Family System
Restore the Family System
Harmony Place views rehab as a family-centered solution, not just a solution for the individual client. The goal is to get the family on the same page about their loved one’s recovery using therapy sessions, psychoeducation, and support. A primary therapist will help the family improve communication and address dysfunctional patterns of interaction. Beyond periodic family therapy sessions, they offer a weekly multi-family group where family members sit by their loved one’s side—among other clients and families—to learn and develop skills for the ongoing journey to sobriety.
Land Softly at Either Woodland Hills Residence
Land Softly at Either Woodland Hills Residence
Harmony Place offers residential treatment in two homes in Woodland Hills: Harmony Place at Hatteras and Harmony Place East, and both are a comfortable, private place to land. Clients can relax in private or shared rooms, spend time in cozy libraries, or enjoy the fresh air in the gardens and poolside patios. To support physical healing, the facilities offer chef-prepared meals, massages, and a full gym with professional fitness training.
Benefit from Data-Driven Assessments
Benefit from Data-Driven Assessments
Every client at Harmony Place is assessed upon admission, at key points during their treatment, and upon discharge. The results from the initial assessment inform treatment planning and guide clinicians in addressing the issues most relevant to the client. Results from the discharge assessment give the team insight into the program’s overall success. This personalized approach has helped Harmony Place improve recovery outcomes for over 2 decades, equipping clients with tools for long-term sobriety.

I owe my new life to the help I received at Harmony Place. Everyone was very kind and concerned about my recovery. My therapist, group facilitators, nursing staff, the owners, and even the house keeper all played a part in my recovery. In addition to the professional assistance I received, I was surrounded by luxury. Very comfortable beds, gourmet food from an incredible chef, beautiful grounds, and a big beautiful house to relax in. We went on very fun outings including going to the movies, beach, and go-cart racing. I received wonderful massage and acupuncture that helped me learn the importance of self care. I entered Harmony Place a real mess. I learned to overcome my addiction and treated my mental health issues with their help, and now have a full-time job working in a residential treatment program. I highly recommend Harmony Place to anyone who wants to recover from addiction and live life to the fullest.

"A MAGICAL PLACE"This facility sets the bar for treatment facilities. I had been to many treatment programs throughout my ADDICTION and I somehow landed at this wonderful place, this is where I began my healing process and I can't believe I was able to unpack so much trauma in such a short time.. From the owner jeff swartz to the wonderful Mrs lupita who makes sure the house and bedrooms are comforting, the staff is 2nd to none.. I was able to achieve long term recovery, heal from my trauma, learned how to forgive others, set boundaries, healthy coping skills, routine, share my feelings and much more. Since then ive graduated highschool, became an substance abuse counselor, and now owner of a few soberlivings. I am fortunate now to able to give back to the community in ways i never thought would be possible. Today I have 5 years sober!!!! Thanks to harmonyplace I was able to redirect and rediscover a new way of life WORTH living.
