Review from Rehabs.com

The detox experience itself was nice, and the staff at the house were all pleasant. My experience with the detox itself was completely adequate. *However, when I discharged none of my medical records, drug test results, or a letter of completion was emailed to me. I have a probation officer that requested a letter of detox completion so I called the admissions staff because they were the ones who wrote up the detox enrollment letter for me that I sent to my probation officer. They told me that they would take care of the request and never did. I called in multiple times and they were extremely condescending and rude so eventually I emailed the admissions supervisor. Her name is Kelly Garcia; she was the one who wrote my enrollment letter for me, but was never nice to me on the phone which was VERY strange. She responded and told me that I needed to contact their medical records department because her admissions department did not handle requests for a letter of completion. I have been to plenty of detoxes and rehabs and I knew immediately that this wasn't true. In fact I asked her for the medical records contact information and she didn’t even respond. Because of their terrible business etiquette and complete lack of compassion In not sending the requested letter of completion, I now could violate probation and my reducible felony charge could be changed to an actual felony! I may even have to serve 90 days in jail because of this utter act of negligence. All they had to do was not be so unbelievably flippant with me and treated me with kindness and respect, just as I treated them. The fact that they did not send me the proof of completion letter in a very timely manner, or at all for that matter may cost me GREATLY, in fact it is potentially going to ruin my chances of ever pursuing my career goals because my felony charge is being changed to a real felony on my record. Unbelievable and extremely unfortunate and I hope somebody who works within this organization sees what happened to me and makes some MAJOR changes in Hope Canyons complete lack of business etiquette in a business space where morals and values are ESSENTIAL. They are dealing with addicts who very commonly have legal troubles and need letters of completion for their probation officers; this is VERY common practice in the business of drug rehabilitation, and without this very basic and necessary service, many more clients just like me will be in jeopardy of losing their career opportunities and are at risk of going to jail, very unnecessarily and unfairly because I successfully completed the program.
