Each person comes with a unique chemical, biological, and psychological makeup, as well as unique experiences, stressors, and trauma that all play a part in their addiction and recovery. In addition, each person comes with their own idea of what they would like their recovery to look like. There are many evidenced based models and supports that can be used to achieve long-term recovery.

Just recently left the ranch, and I cant say enough about my experience there! i have never met a better group of people. i didnt know what to expect going in, but it didnt take me long to realize I made the right choice. the staff and medical team were amazing. the environment and program promote recovery and personal growth at a high level. i feel prepared to face addiction without fear. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of a place to heal.

Review from Rehabs.com

I was a client at River Ranch for alcoholism. My case worker met me at the front steps upon arrival and immediately comforted me and shared her sobriety story. She made me feel at ease and was so kind throughout my stay. I learned quickly that I wasn't alone with my disease and that others understood exactly what I was going through, despite our different walks of life. That gave me hope that I could recover and that this addiction did not define me. They also taught me some tools to deal with stress and anxiety. The facility itself and surrounding grounds are well maintained. There are goats and donkeys which I absolutely loved. They have soccer balls, basketball, volleyball, and trails you can walk. There were some issues like retrieving items quickly. Sometimes you had to wait longer than you wanted. And the phone list starts at 8 am with about 10-12 time slots. That was upsetting for some that could not get on the list, however I only had maybe 2 incidences with that and was allowed to use the phone if absolutely needed. My experience overall here has been enlightening. There are a variety of clients that may not share the same views but we seemed to get along. I highly recommend this facility and hopeful about my future.

This was a nice house. The caretakers were friendly. The food was OK but it wasn’t a chef it was a cook from the waffle house. Lots of people in the house not enough caretakers and counselors. There were people doing drugs and nothing was done about it. It’s a fun place if you want to hang out because your family wants you to go to rehab.

Review from Rehabs.com

I chose this place so I could get a fresh start on life and needed to get away and work on myself. The people here made it very easy for me to do that. I always had someone to talk to if I had a problem. I had good and bad days but I felt accomplished. I was able to ease into my group settings helped me be able to stay. I love having options. I have been sober for 32 days and I am going to miss this place.
