Lumiere is an awesome place. The staff, chef and the residents are great. This healing center has changed my life for the best. I plan on returning in the future to be a part of the staff so that I can give back to the future residents as I was given a chance for a new and sober life and my life is now great because of all the caring people and support for each other. Everyone makes me feel so appreciated and for that I am grateful. Thanks again to everyone for all the support and for my new sober family each and everyone of you are a special human being and we are in this together and thank you Jesus for this great day. I love all of you! Everyone just remember One day at a time.

As a parent who watched their child struggle with alcoholism, Lumiere was a Godsend. He found it himself & entered the facility willingly, I thank God that he did. He has been sober for two years, & his life continues to get better daily. Thank you

Review from Rehabs.com

I was in so much pain during my detox, but the staff and doctors made me comfortable. My meals were per paired of those from a five star restaurant. There was an abundance of food so you could eat little to as much as you wanted. The bed was comfy along with cable tv to relax and catch up on rest. I’m thankful to have been able to get better at this facility!!

Lumiere saved my life, period! It was not easy but it's not supposed to be. I learned a lot about myself and found the root of my problem. The med techs were great,Petwr the psychotherapist is a life saver. The nurses were kind and at times tough, which was needed for my recovery. I did the detox and residential and am a different person today for sticking it out even when it got difficult and frustrating. I finally learned patience and self control.

Review from Rehabs.com

I arrived at Lumiere in order to detox and my intake nurse stated that due to my condition, I would require the minimum days of detox (4-5 days). However, the medical director went above the intake nurse and changed my required days to 7 without speaking with me or anyone. It was clean and the food was fantastic. The upper level staff was nonexistent and did not answer any questions or let us know what was going on with our treatment. There were no activities, groups or treatment at all for anyone segregated on the detox side.
