Mt Sinai is incredible. I have been to several rehabs and this is the most amazing spot ive been to. I came to Mt Sinai after reading the reviews. The program is effective if you just follow the schedule. People get what they put into it. I loved my therapist (Mary) and also my Dr., Dr Siekel. The food was good (not 4 Star, but better than my wife's) The cabins are great and if u cant succeed at Mt. Sinai, you just weren't ready to get clean. Dont hesitate to send your loved one there, and go if u need help. You will be treated with respect, and as a human being, they treat the disease as a medical condition and not a behavior. Thank you Mt. Sinai for getting my life back.

Review from Rehabs.com

As a medical professional and a chronic relapser, I can honestly say that Mt. Sinai saved my life and altered the path my life and all those who love me were on. We are ALL forever changed because of this facility. Family education, up-to-date research on addiction, classes, group therapy etc etc etc., all have played a critical part in giving me my life back and my hope back for a different tomorrow. Their holistic approach encompassing physical, emotional and spiritual recovery is unlike anything I've ever seen. After having many years in recovery I relapsed and struggled to regain my footing in 12 step. After the work I did with the outstanding and knowledgeable staff here, I have truly begun the healing process to once again obtain long-term sobriety. Whether you are just questioning your addiction or whether you've struggled for years, Mt. Sinai is the place to come. It is a decision you will never regret.

When and if you are ready to get clean and healthy it is an amazing place to do this. Mt. Sinai and it's counselors and medical staff are the best. I couldn't have come this far in my recovery of 14 1/2 months without starting here first. They put you through a very comfortable detox and then the work begins. They also set up a great aftercare program to fit your needs. Thank you,Mt. Sinai.

Review from Rehabs.com

I cannot say enough about Mount Sinai- from the serene mountain setting to the unbelievably supportive and loving staff. I have struggled with addiction and deep trauma issues for years now and until my stay at Mt. Sinai, I had not been able to get the help needed to get to the root of my issues nor the guidance and loving support in how to do that with true understanding. Before my transfer there, I sought treatment at a facility that was touted as the best in the nation and state of the art- what I found though, was that clients quickly became just a number and a dollar sign and lost in the mix. This was the exact opposite at Mt. Sinai as I was enveloped into a warm environment and tightly knit community- all of which were on a first name basis, all the way up to the CEO and COO and down to the cleaning and kitchen staff. While my journey was a long and hard one, I most importantly felt SAFE and supported every step of the way. The camaraderie among patients was amazing, the expertise and support from nursing was stellar as they helped me through several crises, and the therapists there are next to none. Personally, my therapist helped to save my life- her compassion, empathy, expertise, and relatability brought me through the fight of my life. Mt. Sinai gave me new hope, a new beginning, and the peace I thought I’d never find again and for that, I’m forever grateful.
