Former Client

Server & receptionist

Northern Illinois

I was an inpatient at MSR in 2022, almost 2 years ago, and it was fantastic. It was my first time going to a residential rehab (or any rehab, at that) and it absolutely blew me away. I flew all the way from the IL because I already felt so at home in Colorado and while researching online, I just felt like this was the one. The facility itself actually used to be a hotel, and the layout of the campus/buildings and how they connect are so so cool. The staff was kind, passionate, friendly, supportive, empathetic, and understanding. As long as you don’t act like a jerk/fool, the staff is pretty relaxed. We got to use our phones, laptops, etc. The gym was a great stress reliever. And the pool- don’t even get me started on how fun that was. We had a certain schedule during the day and we had evenings free to do what we please. The food they provided was so good and really healthy. Once you reach PHP after about 30 days, you’re allowed to join a group that does outside activities which included hiking, swimming at a lake, equestrian, etc. AND they had field trips every week. Really cool places too. Therapy/counseling that is 1 on 1 a couple times a week. I never got to go to college, but I called MSR “sober college” because of your class/group schedules, extracurricular activities, the food, the “dorm rooms”, etc. I could go on and on but overall, It was great and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We love hearing about your treatment experience
