I was extremely frightened to walk through those doors, but once I was inside I was treated with nothing but compassion and kindness. The staff is amazing, and for me, made a huge impact as most of them are in recovery. That in return brought a sense of understanding and patients. The groups are very educational and I also made some life-long friends. Northpoint saved my life.

NorthPoint was amazing. The techs stayed in constant contact with me from the beginning they they have the courage and strength needed for me to convince myself I could do this. The medical staff was loving and caring (none of which i have ever experienced being an addict) the staff still continues to contact me me and make sure I’m still on track. Today I have multiple years living in recovery and couldn’t have done it without Northpoint.

The counselors and staff at Northpoint genuinely care about you and your mental health and recovery. The facility itself is small and the food wasn’t my favorite, but those weren’t the reasons I went there. It was really helpful to me to have access to a psychiatrist and medication management during my time there. There’s a lot of group therapy versus one-on-one counseling, but I felt it was effective. Northpoint had a far greater effect on my mental health and my life than any other help I’ve sought.

My sister knew I was headed to real trouble and when I was recovering in the hospital she found Northpoint. Northpoint picked me up at the hospital and that's when the great treatment began. I received individual counseling, great inter-active group education, and the support of peers who were going through the same process. After your 28 days in the hospital setting, they offer multiple levels to continue your recovery with continued education, individual counseling, and peer support. I would highly recommend Northpoint to anyone who has become overwhelmed with alcohol addiction.

Northpoint Recovery changed my life. I’m so happy I made the decision to go to Northpoint. I struggled with alcoholism for 14 years and tried stopping on my own. It never worked. I am now 50 days sober and have a program in place that is working. I have not had the desire to drink but know what to do if and when it comes. The staff is unbelievable of how much they care. It’s not just a job to them, they know lives are at stake. They leave the facility daily and it doesn’t feel like you stuck in an institution. I felt comfortable day 1. And with professionals who were addicts them self they have tons of life experiences that helped me. I would recommend Northpoint for anyone that has addiction issues as it has changed my life.
