Not Offered at This Center
Transitional housing designed to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders offering a safe, supportive and structured environment for practicing long-term sobriety, while reintegrating back into daily living.
Day Treatment
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.

The Detox house was a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a nice neighborhood. Meals were catered for lunch and dinner. The cabinet and fridge were always full of anything you wanted to eat. Detox is 3-10 days depending on the severity of your addiction. No matter what you've heard, there is nothing they can provide you to feel better. Medical Assisted Therapy is provided after everything is out of your system. Residential housing is a larger 3bdr/3bath home in a nice neighborhood. There are two people to a room and men and women are in separate house. During the beach/park visits we are reintegrated with opposite sex. The houses were companion animal friendly. If you do not have one, the backyard includes a Koi pond with wild ducks. Transportation is provided by staff to all activities and daily meetings. 6 out of 7 meeting each week are AA. 12 step is emphasized but not a requirement. Majority of the residents were addicts, some were alcoholics. There were 25 men in 4 houses and 4 women living at a separate house. Living rooms had TVs with all the apps and movie channels installed. Bowflex, stationary bike, punching bags, and laundry machines in garage. What I learned in the program: -To live my life without using. -If you want to use again, your misery will be fully refunded.

Review from Rehabs.com

My 27 year old son left this facility after only two weeks. We had our doubts from the beginning as it sounded more like a sober living situation than a treatment center. After a 2 day evaluation and detox (if necessary) the clients move to houses where they live with several others in treatment . The houses are "supervised" by a staff member. During the day, the clients attend group and perhaps individual therapy at the treatment center to which they are transported in the morning, but there seems to be a lot of down time afterwards. My son reported that several of his housemates were kicked out of the program for taking drugs (heroin, opioids , meth) at the house. This is according to my son, of course- so I take it with a grain of salt. When we researched facilities, we were specifically looking for a program that treated dual-diagnoses. The contact person at Ocean Hills claimed that they offered such treatment and would help him with a recent traumatic event. But the emphasis seemed clearly to be a cookie cutter drug rehab approach. When our son had not seen his counselor in a few days and the brief phone contact we had with that person did not leave us confident in his clinical skills, we called the clinical director to request a change of therapist and reiterate that he needed some grief & trauma work- which is what the intake person promised they could provide in the first place. In hindsight, this was not a great choice of program for our son. He really needed tighter supervision and more professional treatment.

Ocean Hills helped me in so many ways. They were efficient and helpful in all aspects of my recovery. I used my insurance and they did a spectacular job of getting me sober. I would recommend Ocean Hills as they are a clean, respectable facility. And also the staff was Amazing. Holly, the clinical director, and Rachel, the intake administrator, are the best.
