Set in the South End neighborhood of Albany, Eleanor Young Outpatient Clinic (EYOC) supports adults in the Capital Region and their families in recovering from substance use disorders and related challenges. They take clients who reach out voluntarily plus clients from healthcare or court referrals. Their services include outpatient individual and group counseling, state approved DWI assessments, peer support, and community outreach events.

Support In-Person or Online

EYOC is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Clients can register in-person, over the phone, or online. Their therapy program operates in-person and virtually. The in-person option includes art therapy and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to reduce cravings. EYOC's licensed staff can administer the medications of Suboxone, Subutex, and Vivitrol.

EYOC's parent is Peter Young Housing Industries Treatment (PYHIT). PYHIT is named for Father Peter G Young, a priest, activist, and Navy veteran. The organization can also connect clients with recovery peer advocates and transitional housing, including housing inside this building.
