About Aspire Counseling Services - Fresno
Aspire Counseling Services provides outpatient treatment for substance use disorders (SUD), behavioral health conditions, and co-occurring disorders in adults and adolescents.
SUD IOP & PHP
Aspire Counseling Services provides drug and alcohol treatment with multiple levels of outpatient care, mainly intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs. They offer a wide range of individual, couples, family, and group counseling for men, women, and adolescents (ages 12–17). Aspire also offers addiction recovery groups, education groups, relapse prevention, drug and alcohol testing, crisis intervention, and aftercare. Aspire’s evidence-based treatment is personalized to fit each patient’s needs.
Behavioral Health IOP
Designed for individuals who are experiencing behavioral or emotional difficulties but do not require (or no longer require) the intense level of psychiatric care provided in an inpatient or partial hospitalization (PHP) program, Aspire’s Behavioral Health IOP provides short-term stabilization of psychiatric symptoms while allowing participants to live an independent lifestyle. Small group sessions comprise most of the therapeutic work, held 3 days per week, for 3 hours each day, in addition to individual sessions with an Aspire clinician. Aspire applies a holistic approach to clinical therapy, and incorporates a variety of evidence-based modalities as well as experiential therapies like animal therapy, art therapy, mindfulness therapy, meditation, yoga, and music therapy.
Behavioral Health PHP
Aspire’s PHP offers a more direct and intensive level of psychiatric care for those individuals requiring a higher level of care, until they are ready for IOP support.
Adolescent Program
Aspire’s Adolescent IOP addresses the unique challenges faced by adolescents (ages 12–17) with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, or experiencing an overwhelming crisis. The program is intended to be short-term, so it allows young people to stay in school and maintain much of their daily routine. This program aims to teach adolescents ways to overcome their substance use disorder, to manage their emotions, and to care for themselves more effectively.
