Initial health assessments may include blood draws and relevant labs, pregnancy testing, screening for infectious diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis C, or other sexually-transmitted infections, and minor wound care. Licensed and experienced staff can administer immunizations, provide referrals to specialists, and coordinate care with primary physicians including referrals for dental, eye care, occupational or physical therapy, and educational needs. They offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) such as suboxone or vivitrol for clients seeking help with withdrawal management, including pregnant women. Medication reconciliation and management is also available as part of their behavioral health services. Patients with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders can receive psychiatric evaluations.
