About Elysian Treatment
Elysian offers a customized alternative treatment program based on individual needs for executives, professionals, full-time parents, young adults, and other high-functioning adults who are seeking to moderate or abstain from the use of alcohol. They offer an 8 week intensive outpatient program (IOP) with personally tailored treatment plans incorporating individual, group, family, and couples therapy using evidence-based methods. Their holistic wellness approach also involves treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, stress, or trauma with methods such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and forms of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). In addition to an abstinence-based and moderation program for alcohol use, expert professionals offer fitness, nutritional, and meditation services through a comprehensive strategy.
Elysian Foundational Program
Their foundational program incorporates a carefully constructed group of like-minded clients to promote connection and perspective from peers with similar situations or concerns. Group topics vary based on the needs of the individuals participating, but may include neuroscience of alcohol, reasons we drink, incorporating a support network, moderation vs. abstinence, and changing habits.
Individual therapy is designed based on personal objectives, goals, and challenges. Clients meet with a licensed therapist twice per week, focused on coping mechanisms and life balance in addition to lifestyle habits such as sleep hygiene and regular exercise. Clients will also address any co-occurring conditions or underlying factors that may contribute to their alcohol use, such as anxiety, stress, or depression. Personalized treatment plans are continuously assessed and modified as clients progress, the end result being a specific plan regarding drinking habits, stress management, and life balance. Clients at Elysian also have the option to supplement their program with prescription medication to help manage symptoms and cravings.
Elysian Club, a private forum of alumni, is also available to offer community and support among like-minded individuals as part of an on-going aftercare program.
