Set in Miami-Dade County in Florida, Here's Help is a non-profit outpatient treatment provider offering help to persons dealing with substance use and co-occurring issues. There South Campus outpatient program serves adults and teens ages 13+. Since 1969, this organization has helped many communities through their easily accessible outpatient clinic location.

16-Week Supportive Outpatient Program

The 16-week outpatient program offers a variety of services that help young people and recovering adults learn healthier ways to live and cope with daily life challenges.If someone comes to the clinic for support, the staff hands out a form to the client for assessment. An individualized plan of care is made in collaboration with the client, making sure their goals are realistic and meaningful. Group counseling provides a safe space for clients to share their experiences, learn how to handle stress and make better choices. Clients may either stay in care for 3-4 months, but some may finish sooner or continue longer, depending on their progress and recovery goals. Through flexibility of care, clients will have enough time to work on their growth towards lasting recovery.

Making Recovery Flexible And Meaningful

Care is supported by different methods to ensure every healing needs are met. Evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) helps clients build self-control, and develop healthy coping skills. While motivational interviewing and enhancement therapy (MET) encourage positive changes in the daily life and motivates client's recovery. For those having difficulties visiting the clinic, in-home services are available. A case manager can step in when help is needed to ensure that clients stay on track with treatment.
