Review from Rehabs.com

I had a truly fantastic experience working staffs at Lighthouse. The situation surrounding my loved-one's need for recovery was daunting; multiple issues compiled to form a mere 'perfect storm' of chaos that had been plaguing my family (including two very young children) for years...mostly under the cover of denial. Turning over my trust to a staff for onboarding brought a first wave of much-needed peace I had been lacking for years; the knowledge that he was safe, under excellent care, and was going to receive exactly the treatment necessary to begin breaking through the walls surrounding his behavior and tendencies. With a tough financial situation on top of the dependency issues at the core of our need, worked with my family specifically to make the treatment most affordable, and compatible with the minimal contributions we were able to make; a real concession and sign of care. Once inside the facility, partnered with my loved one and spent hours with him one on one, as well as in a group setting, directing her level of care from both macro as well as micro areas. She was direct, frank, forthcoming, but never harsh or degrading, and assisted my loved one in gaining awareness to the plagues of his addiction he had so long been in denial of. Extremely rocked and unstable from the events myself, sacrificed her spare time to work with me via phone for hours; coaching me through my concerns, and listening to my emotional rollercoaster of feelings, top to bottom. She gave her time, her authenticity, her persistence and her full weight of capability into my loved-ones treatment, and though a long road ahead, he has benefited tenfold from that investment. I can only speak highly of Lighthouse, and the blessings they served as a catalyst for in my loved-one's recovery. Thank you to everyone there for your time and investment, but most specifically to staff members for championing the care.

Great experience at the facility. Very upfront about programming for my loved one and what was to be expected. Really enjoyed working with the counselor and having updates weekly. The communication was unlike any prior treatment episode, they even made a referral to a private therapist for after treatment for my family. Very happy that I was recommended to Lighthouse Recovery Institute for a treatment option for my family.

Review from Rehabs.com

I was a patient at lighthouse recovery institute for an entire year and I received an “administrative discharge” one day before my official discharge date. I paid my rent on time, attended groups, was compliant with my medication, as well as sponsored others in their program after I completed my steps. They chose to discharge me after one “bad attitude” incident that occurred while asleep on my sleeping medication after no accepting other clients back after multiple relapses, drug and alcohol use on property, relationships with the female clients, etc. Instead of allowing me to successfully complete the program, they labeled it as incomplete after a year of work. They are changing their entire clinical team. I do not suggest going. They will close soon.

Lighthouse Recovery Institute is a great program and would truly recommend it to anyone serious about changing their life. This is a smaller program and you will not fall through the cracks. If you are seeking a program for your loved one where you are involved every step of the way in their treatment, this is the place to send them

Review from Rehabs.com

My son just completed 4 months of treatment at Lighthouse Recovery Institute and this was his third treatment with drugs addiction. My wife and I decided it would be best to try something different and take him out of our local community and send him down to Florida for longer term treatment and we are happy that we did. In the beginning his progress was slow and we were worried he would not take to the structure and rules required of him. We started to participate in weekly family sessions on the phone with his therapist and family therapist and learned a lot about how we were enabling him over the years. Over time he began to step down in the program through the stages until he was working almost 30 hours a week and paying most of his rent each week on his own, which had never been something he had been capable of doing before. After several months we finally were able to do joint family sessions and start working on our family communication. I am very happy to have my son back who recently arrived back home but is living in a sober house. I can not speak highly enough of the Jessica the therapist and communication that was done over the time that my son was there. I would recommend this place to any parent specifically who wants be involved in their son or daughter's treatment.
