About Stella Mental Health Chicago
Stella Center Chicago is the flagship Stella Center location, offering innovative biological interventions to help treat and alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Their primary treatment methods are dual sympathetic reset (DSR)/stellate ganglion block (SGB) and ketamine therapy. In addition to these biological interventions, Stella Center Chicago offers optional trauma-informed counseling services to support the treatment process. Stella Center’s staff will review potential client’s symptoms and health history to determine if they’re a good fit for Stella’s treatments.
DSR Treatment
The DSR treatment involves an injection next to a collection of nerves that regulate involuntary functions such as heart rate and blood pressure. The injection helps regulate the flight-or-flight response and return the nervous system to a baseline state. SGB has been approved by the FDA for pain management, but is used as an off-label procedure for alleviating mental health symptoms and is supported by medical research. Stella Center Chicago offers in-house financing and accepts payment from Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
