Insurance

Provider's Policy

Many of SunCloud Health’s patients use their in-network benefits to pay for treatment. There is usually a deductible and some form of co-insurance that our patients must pay directly to us. Upon admission to SunCloud Health, a patient must sign a “SCH Financial Agreement” contract that obligates him or her to pay for the services rendered, commensurate with the contracts we have in place with the various insurance companies and per each individual’s specific plan. For the financial portion our patients pay directly to us, SunCloud accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept checks.

SunCloud Health cares for adolescents and adults struggling with addiction, substance use disorder, eating disorders, and mental health conditions. Their holistic, solution-focused treatment addresses all aspects of recovery simultaneously using 1-on-1 counseling, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), group therapy, interpersonal therapy, life skill training, medication management, motivational therapy, nutrition counseling, psychoeducation, stress management, experiential treatments, and relapse prevention counseling.

For adults, they provide residential care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient care, and virtual care. For adolescents, they offer PHP, IOP, and a residential program for teen girls.

SunCloud Health is accredited by the Joint Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Services, the Eating Disorders Coalition, and the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP) President’s Council.

Admission Process

Admission to SunCloud Health starts with a call to determine whether their program is a good fit, which may last 5 to 60 minutes. If they determine they're not the best match, they provide referrals to another center.

Treatment-Resistant Depression

For hard-to-treat depression, SunCloud Health can administer the medication Spravato to supplement treatment. Spravato is a fast-acting nasal spray for major depression incidents and recurring symptoms.

In addition to therapeutic treatments and medication management for depression, SunCloud Health administers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment, with minimal sensations.
