In the Canberra suburb of Deakin, TMS Specialists Clinics offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatments for adults ages 18 and older with depression. TMS is primarily used to treat depression, but can also be useful in treating anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The standard duration of TMS treatment includes 30-40 sessions over the course of 7-9 weeks. Most clients receive 5 sessions a week from Monday-Friday.
