Since 2006, The Recovery Centre (TRC) has supported children, teenagers, and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, and more through their London, Edinburgh, and Riyadh clinics. They provide bespoke, evidence-based day treatment (PHP) 2 to 5 days a week with 6+ sessions.
Treatment begins with a 2-week assessment, where clients and families meet a director and case manager to set goals, review history, and determine the most effective therapies. For young clients, TRC often works closely with school staff.

Personalised, Person-Centred Recovery

After the assessment, TRC creates a customized plan for each client. A typical week may include individual therapy, group sessions, psychiatric care, nutritional coaching, mindfulness-based activities, and family therapy. Clients usually come several days a week before transitioning to extended care, with sessions fortnightly or monthly. TRC recognises recovery is rarely linear though, allowing clients to return to higher levels of care when needed.

Common Therapy Options

Therapy options include psychotherapy, family therapy, eye movement therapy (EMDR), nutritional therapy, mentoring, life coaching, meditation, mindfulness, and group therapy, tailored to each client’s needs. Family therapy is a core focus for TRC, aiming to improve understanding between clients and relatives, teach helpful responses, explain symptoms, and build crisis-management skills.

Experienced Care Team

The multidisciplinary team holds certifications from UK or international accreditation bodies, such as BACP, UKCP, BANT, CNHC, or equivalent, combining established practices with the latest research. Their nutritional therapists have experience tweaking therapy for clients with different eating disorders, ADHD, or other conditions.
