The residential program provides structure for severe addictions, while the outpatient program options allow clients more flexibility and the option of continuing to work or go to school.

Promises Atlanta’s goal is to treat the underlying cause of the addiction by providing high-quality, evinced-based treatment such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness therapy, and trauma-informed care. In addition to evidence-based treatment, Promises also understands that proper nourishment and fitness are essential aspects of the recovery process. Clients will work to restore their physical health while in treatment through fitness classes, nutritious food, and education on how to carry these practices into daily life.
