Provider's Policy

Prosperity is proud to provide assistance for individuals that receive funding through the WA State Medicaid program or low-income.

This treatment center for drug and alcohol addiction is focused on providing individuals with emotional and physical wellness as they recover from addiction. Their programs prioritize treating the person rather than just the diagnosis, providing a comfortable home-like setting as they heal. They provide in-depth individual and group therapy. In their therapy programs, the substance use counselors help the clients uncover historic barriers to their recovery, set goals and change their behavior in ways that are necessary to success in sobriety. After treatment at Prosperity, clients are automatically enrolled in their aftercare program called Discovery for Life. It is a 16-point interactive assessment and check-in program for one year after discharge. Clients are able to reach out and receive additional support through this program.

Review from Rehabs.com

I went to Prosperity for about a month back in Aug 2015, they saved my life and taught me the skills I needed to stay sober. The daily classes are presented in a way that make it easy to follow what's being taught and sucks you in and makes you hungry for more once you realize you're "getting it". I went into Prosperity feeling beat down, worthless and scared that for the rest of my life it was going to be a daily white nuckle battle to stay sober. I "graduated" and came out of Prosperity with my head held high, proud of my accomplishments, grateful for my sobriety, knowing my value, that I am a precious gift from GOD, and that I am the only thing that I have control over. My life is amazing now! I am happy. I am positive! I am sober. I am happy to be sober. It's NOT the struggle I thought it would be, in fact, I have no desire to drink. I use the skills I learned at Prosperity to process/work thru things that come up so I don't end up feeling the need to "numb" myself. It's the most liberating feeling EVER!! The staff is kind, compassionate, firm yet friendly, consistent yet flexible. I absolutely give Prosperity 5⭐'s. One weakness was limited options during our "free time", would be great if you had yoga or meditation as options during that time.

I thought this was a good place to go. I had read other reviews about ot online and was dazzled with what I later came to find out was horribly incorrect. Yes they have some more up to date methods of teaching. Then having you write a relapse scenario in which you use then follow up with one in which the ending is different. They do not follow up afterward. The beds are very uncomfortable and obviously cheap. There is no uniformity with the way support staff handle things. Individual staff say different things qbout how something should be done leading to confusion in many situations. The food is fairly good with and kitchen staff if fairly attentive to the needs of clients. A lot of pork on the menu. A LOT. They do well catering to clients with special dietary needs. But the males do get served more food than females and portions are strictly controlled all the way down to how many sugar and cream packets you are allowed with your decaf coffee. There is a soda machine in the lobby/front room area that you may purchase decaffeinated high fructose corn syrup soda's from for 75 cents a piece and meal times and snack time. But no snack macines. Constancy is not a prevalent trait at this facility. Some staff will tell clients one thing, then other staff will tell client the complete opposite. The owner runs some classes and picks on and shames some clients. They do offer therapy with horses but I was unfortunately asked to leave before I had a chance to have that. Some of the staff are rather abrasive and unapproachable. Clients are often expected to resolve issues with each but are rare guided by staff as to what action should be taken when an issue is difficult to resolve. I would not ask to return. I was voluntarily at this facility.

Review from Rehabs.com

the staff claims that they are #1 the best inpatient treatment in Washington State but with the staff who claims to be a supervisor but is extremely rude. I am 33 years old and It was my first time in treatment I was not on my medications and was having a hard time controlling my anxiety and my head was throbbing I was literally having a panic attack. The staff member felt I was being rude but I continuously said I was not trying to be rude or disrespectful but she continuously argued with me to the point I was given my bags and told to leave. I am very shocked that a staff member who works in a inpatient facility that claims to be #1 and helps people work threw trama and grief can not even act grown enough not to argue with the clients and even after I told her that I appologize and I am having anxiety issues and I am not on my medication she still insisted on standing there telling me I was talking to her rude and disrespectful then telling me to pack my things and leave... I do not recommend this facility to anyone who has anxiety depression or any mental health disabilities...

Out of the numerous attempts at numerous treatment facilities, Prosperity finally was The One. I graduated from Prosperity, and have continued my sobriety 3 years later. I have recommended this place to a few ppl and would continue to recommend it.
