Return to Hope—The Ranch’s 25+ Years of Care
Return to Hope—The Ranch’s 25+ Years of Care
For more than a quarter-century, The Ranch has been a steady harbor for people rebuilding their lives—a team clients can trust, rooted in a calm, healing landscape just outside Nashville. That deep history isn’t just years on a calendar—it’s thousands of small, human moments that prove their integrity and keep alumni coming back.
Process the Past with Support
Process the Past with Support
Many people don’t realize how past experiences can shape the way they feel, cope, and connect with others, but here, clients are met with understanding, not judgment. The team uses proven therapies, combined with mindfulness and family support, to gently guide clients through processing painful memories and rebuilding a sense of safety and confidence. Because trauma and addiction often go hand in hand, the program focuses on treating both together.
Embrace Wholeness beyond Addiction
Embrace Wholeness beyond Addiction
Through practices like the medicine wheel, individuals are guided to find balance and harmony within, while yoga and mindfulness sessions create a sense of grounding, reflection, and gentle restoration. Scenic outdoor walking paths bring quiet moments of peace and connection with nature, reminding clients that recovery is about more than overcoming addiction—it’s about rediscovering wholeness.
Cultivate Healthy Family Bonds
Cultivate Healthy Family Bonds
Families are contacted within 24 hours because recovery works best when loved ones are included — over the next 30 days they’ll receive a clear roadmap with an early orientation, scheduled check-ins, guided coaching to rebuild trust and set healthy boundaries, and hands-on skills like co-regulation to manage emotions; each month they can join a live family webinar with a Zoom option for those who can’t attend in person, and ongoing connection continues through the alumni program so support doesn’t end at discharge.

After many unfortunate experiences I finally found a home at The Ranch, Promises program. The staff, food, and program were exactly as explained. They focus on your mental health and treat addiction as a result. The when, where, and why is addressing. The mens and women's group/clients are very strong. You will experiences support and lasting friendships. Please be aware this is a serious program designed for serious people. It produces results for those willing.

No support from therapists. Going home, lying, rescheduling is more important to them than you are, no one will communicate properly to you or your family. The only good is the comradery with other clients and the groups.

I did 2 weeks residential then 4 weeks PHP I was at the Ranch 1 year prior. Honestly they saved my life literally. There was drama in residential the community. Frustration was the high But you need to realize not everyone had your back. there are people there for the wrong reasons. tje most important thong is if you are there for the right reasons you want to be with the people that are serious. The staff here are fabulous they really care. I have had talks with staff that absolutely changed my life really saved my life. there are rules just follow them they aren't that difficult.

I was there in Sept./Oct. of 2018. Horrible experience. You see the website and you and your loved ones think you are going to receive top notch care. Not so. The “detox cabin” is disgusting. I was beside a young lady who was coming off of meth.. She threw up 2 feet from me for 3 days, the stench was intolerable. Not to mention, this was someone’s baby that was left to wretch for days. Food was terrible. No nutritional value whatsoever. We are addicts, especially alcohol, we need nutrient based foods. I witnessed female clients and male clients personally interact. As well as male staff inappropriately mix with female clients. This place is a joke. It’s not in some tranquil setting. It’s in Wrightsville, PA. You are a 10 minute breakout from a mini mart. Oh, and there are NO horses or archery.

Review from Rehabs.com

The setting is beautiful. However, communication amongst the staff is horribly lacking. I went on mental health because from the website I believed there were horses and a therapy dog. So, neither existed. Fine. I stayed but was appalled at the way clients were treated by staff! I’m an educated person. Masters degree and close to doctoral equivalency ; I came for mental health support and was horrified by the language used by young clients and staff! This is not a place for people who want to improve their mental health! One cannot subject people who simply want a place of peace to rude and vulgar behavior! Please advertise exactly what you are. An addiction rehab. There’s no shame in that and people who are looking for a different treatment won’t be deceived!

We love hearing about your treatment experience
