Levels of Care

Everyone's recovery journey is unique. Whether it looks like residential rehab for 30 days, an outpatient program, or virtual therapy, you can find a level of care that fits your needs.
Detox
Typically the initial stage of treatment for substance use, focusing on medically supervised management of withdrawal symptoms.
Residential Rehab
Offering intensive care with 24/7 monitoring, residential substance use treatment is typically 30 days. Length can range from 14 to 90 days.
Sober Living
Not Offered at This Center
Transitional housing designed to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders offering a safe, supportive and structured environment for practicing long-term sobriety, while reintegrating back into daily living.
Day Treatment
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Intensive Outpatient Program
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) falls between inpatient care and traditional outpatient services, with therapy and skills-building activities designed to support recovery and provide flexibility. IOP is ideal for those needing support but not the 24/7 care of a residential facility.
Outpatient
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Virtual & In-Home Care
Not Offered at This Center
The delivery of therapeutic services utilizing technology such as video conferencing, online messaging or phone calls, allowing for flexibility, comfort and increased access to care.
Co-Occurring Mental Health
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.

Review from Rehabs.com

I cannot begin to explain how important my experience has proved to be here at RECO INTENSIVE's PHP program. I have been struggling with my alcohol and drug addiction for 40 years, on my own. From the moment I was admitted to RECO's treatment center, I felt cared for and truly heard for the first time in forever. For at least 20 years now, I have believed that I did not deserve to be sober. For the first time in my life, not only do I know I deserve to heal and grow but I also honestly know that it is possible! I was given the opportunity to be open and honest in individual sessions, group therapy and within this community every hour of the day. I felt accepted for all that I am, the good, bad and ugly. If you are serious about your recovery and finding out who you really are, RECO is your starting place. You will be given the love, support and tools you need to succeed. You will discover that not only do you deserve to be sober and that you are not your disease but you are worth whatever it takes to make that happen. The idea of loving yourself will be possible. I am a therapist myself, and thus have very high standards for counseling and overall treatment. RECO has went above and beyond all my treatment expectations. I am now moving on to an IOP program closer to my home, however, I know without doubt that the staff at RECO will always be here for anything I might need. When RECO counselors, directors, and techs give you their phone numbers and tell you to contact them as you continue your treatment, they really mean it. They care. And just one more thing.....I hope one day to have the chance to come back to RECO as an employee to give back what I have received. SO GRATEFUL FOR THE TREATMENT AND SO EXCITED FOR WHAT IS NEXT, Denise B

RECO holds a very special place in my heart. I had been to at least ten other treatment centers over the last few years, but something about this place made the program stick with me. I was there from May of 2017- until about September of 2017. To be honest, I didn’t want to leave!! But the staff there made me see that I needed to continue to keep myself “uncomfortable” and to continue to make the changes I needed to make in my life to keep moving forward. I am now the manager of a restaurant near Chicago, and I owe it all the the program, but I also owe it to RECO for being there for me to open my eyes to the possibilities of a sober life. I STILL wear my RECO shirt at least once a week :-) love these guys more than they know. 💕

Review from Rehabs.com

My 19 year old daughter had been struggling with addiction for years when she went to RECO. We had watched her go from a bright, beautiful girl with so many options, to a stranger who withdrew from us more and more. At RECO, she learned the skills to live a sober life. She got a foundation in recovery that she could rely on once she left there. One of the great things they do is a step down approach that eases them back into the "real world". People struggling with addiction cannot be cured in 5, 10 or 30 days. They need a new design for living. RECO and there wonderful, caring staff provide this structure. They also continue to follow up and see how things are going well after clients have left. I highly recommend RECO as a place to start one's journey to a new way of life!

Reco is a great place to come to after you get out of initial treatment. When I came in I didn't know what to expect because I had heard horror stories about relapsing, but I soon came to find out that those stories were of people who weren't serious about their sobriety. The staff has been great and I've had nothing but a positive experience. If you are really serious about getting yourself back into society the right way I highly recommend coming here. Do all the activities that they offer because when you have bad days like you will in early recovery it helps get you out of your head and change your state of mind. I'd stay here forever if I could but I know when it's time to move on and get my life going in the right direction.

We love hearing about your treatment experience
