Ranked #21 in Pennsylvania on Newsweek’s 2024 list of America’s Best Addiction Centers, RCA at Monroeville delivers clinically proven care with signature compassion. They treat substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions through a full continuum of services, including medically monitored detox, residential treatment, and day treatment and intensive outpatient programs (in-person or virtual). They also offer a sober living residence for clients in day treatment, supporting a smooth and stable transition in recovery.

Navigate Recovery with 6 Guiding Principles

RCA applies six core tenets they’ve determined essential for every client to achieve sustained recovery. These include medications to reduce cravings and prevent relapse, daily 12-step meetings for peer support, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills training to manage emotions and cope with challenges. Clients also benefit from family involvement, strong alumni connections after discharge, and care that’s guided by real-time progress tracking to adapt and improve treatment along the way.

Recharge in a Restorative Setting

RCA at Monroeville provides clients with a supportive, peaceful space for healing just outside Pittsburgh. Semi-private rooms and comfortable lounges with fireplaces and TVs create a home-like atmosphere. Clients can enjoy chef-prepared meals, stay active in the fitness center, play basketball and ping pong, and participate in mindfulness, yoga, and creative arts.

Stay Supported with a Thriving Alumni Network

RCA’s alumni association helps clients stay supported and inspired long after treatment ends. They offer ongoing recovery meetings and sober events like movies, sports, and picnics to bring alumni together for fun, fellowship, and connection. Many events allow alumni to invite family and friends, so their support system can play an active role in recovery.

Honestly if it wasn't for the caring staff and the people I've met saved my life. The best thing I have done was going to RCA Monroeville.

Review from Rehabs.com

I've been to six rehabs in last two years. The facility at Monroeville ranks at the bottom. Due to executive mismanagement services are cut due to budget. They simply destroyed the meals. Absolutely horrible food. Under staffed which leads to disgruntled employees and the patient becomes their outlet. Personnel voicing their displeasure is all day every day. If you are serious about your recovery this facility will not be helpful. I pray for those who do attend RCA Monroeville, you deserve better
