I have struggled with addiction for over a decade. I have been to several treatment centers, all of which were unsuccessful. London recovery works is the first place I have been where the staff treated me with respect and actually cared about helping me get better. They saw me as more than just a paycheck. They are all compassionate and wholeheartedly want to help us better our lives. I am completely blind and they were very considerate about my disability. They did everything they could to accommodate my needs during my stay and made it very comfortable for me. it has been six months since I graduated and I am still clean and doing very well. Honestly, that place saved my life. And if given the chance, it has the potential to save many other lives as well.

I had to advocate for myself. My hospital papers were misplaced. It took 5 days to get the pharmacy to drop off my medicine. It was getting so hard to breathe. 1 hour before I left had to wait at Walmart for groceries. I am now deaf in my left ear and a 50% loss in my right. I am on 4 liters of oxygen. After I called my Sober home, they took me to Frankfort Regional Hospital. I was admitted immediately. The medical was awful. I am still in the hospital. I have never been on oxygen. My Sober House knew by my voice, that I was and still very ill.
