After 10 years of battling drug addiction, our son finally made up his mind to get sober & the program at BARC was the perfect fit for taking him successfully through that process. Thanks to God, he's sober now & working with BARC to help others.

Review from Rehabs.com

The communication from the facility was terrible. Despite being on HIPPA releases and having the patient's permission to have medical information provided to the family, the facility would never return calls. The case manager was good about picking up the phone, but every status update was that the patient "was doing great". We eventually find out that the patient was on a significant number of meds prescribed by his "care team" ,not an actual doctor, and seemed more drugged up than when he went into detox - that is not my definition of "doing great". Medical detox was cookie cutter, load the patient up with the standard detox drug regimen. There is no psychiatrist on staff for psych evaluations. We are fairly positive (can't be certain because a nurse or the facility will not return calls) that he was never evaluated by a physician either - we were only given names of PA's or RN's. I absolutely do not reccomend this facility if you would like any kind of accurate updates or medical communication. The only positive thing I can say was the facility did admit him quickly.
