I personally, was a patient at cenikor. They were amazing!! After my military experience, I has a bad drinking problem, as well as ptsd. The councilors, and staff were instrumental, to the tools I needed. I'm so so thankful to cenikor.

Review from Rehabs.com

I graduated from Cenikor: Fort Worth in 2010. It’s hard to believe it’s been 8 years. I cleaned my life up after I got out, went on to get a college degree, became a decent person at the end of the day. I credit at least some of that to being sober for the 21 months I was in Cenikor. But I don’t want you to think for a second that Cenikor helped me recover from my addiction. Addiction is a serious psychological problem that is only the surface level symptom of deep, deep emotional trauma and shame. Cenikor’s philosophy is that they bombard you with stressful situations and force you to work ungodly hours at backbreaking or stressful jobs with the aim of toughening your “sober muscles” up. And believe me, it works. I value my sobriety now. But you can’t just treat people with that—they need serious, intensive therapy to work through the emotional distress of recovery, of being incarcerated, of being punished every day for the most minor and human things. Cenikor provides the absolute lowest standard of that. I needed help and I just didn’t get it in that place. I learned how to work and deal with things. But recovery should be about encouragement and love, something I found very little of in that hellish place. If you know you need 21 months of work and sobriety to sober up, then give Cenikor a try, but know that you will not come out of that place without a few more scars and some serious therapy to do when you get out. I would never send anyone I loved here. Ever.

I just want to let you know that I think the Cenicor program is the best. Greatest councelors I\'ve ever been involved with . Taught me more in two months than I\'ve learned from the five previous treatments I\'ve been involved in.
