Nestled in a quiet wooded area of Aliquippa, GRC’s flagship campus is a comprehensive recovery hub offering detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient services, halfway housing, and medication-assisted treatment—all on one integrated campus. Formerly known as Greenbriar Treatment, the center helps adults and adolescents recover from addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions through age-specific, supportive care. Patients arrive at a place where structure, purpose, and healing begin the moment they walk through the door.

A Campus Built for Change

Each treatment plan is carefully personalized, blending evidence-based methods with holistic, hands-on therapies. Patients engage in trauma-informed counseling, 12-Step facilitation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychiatric care. These clinical foundations are enhanced by expressive therapies like art and music, mindfulness practices like yoga, and experiential therapies such as equine-assisted counseling, spiritual support, and a certified ropes course. Recovery medications including Suboxone, Vivitrol, and methadone are available through both inpatient and outpatient care, supervised by licensed medical staff.

Recovery Beyond the Walls

Clients live in a supportive, structured setting with cozy sleeping quarters, updated bathrooms, a recreation room, and nourishing meals. A fully equipped on-site boxing gym and ropes course offer physical outlets for growth and emotional release. Specialized programs for older adults, individuals with dual diagnoses, and youth allow for focused healing. Telehealth services, employment coordination, and peer recovery support ensure care continues beyond the facility. Here, patients find not just treatment—but a pathway toward long-term renewal.

Virtual & In-Home Care
The delivery of therapeutic services utilizing technology such as video conferencing, online messaging or phone calls, allowing for flexibility, comfort and increased access to care.
Co-Occurring Mental Health
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.

Gateway saved my life. The therapists and staff there were so supportive and helpful and gave me so much hope. It wasn’t the greatest rehab in terms of the facility itself but the techs and counselors and staff made up for it. I went to Gateway inpatient and now I’m in outpatient. I’m grateful.

Therapy staff care a lot about the clients and their recovery. But a shift in care has made the program more like a sub clinic. Staff is overwhelmed since departments are being laid off to save a penny, so client needs often are not met. The med director pushes subs and is incredibly rude to both clients and the nurses working for him. If you want therapy, consider somewhere else.
