Former Client

Corporate

I’ve been welcomed into a private, rural-style rehabilitation centre just north of Auckland – the House of Hope – which offers residential, medically supported detox and holistic recovery programs. The Centre provides a tailored approach with yoga, meditation, group therapy, nutrition, and counselling, all structured within a 12-step framework to support both addiction treatment and personal transformation. From day one, Kobus and his dedicated team have gone above and beyond. With their professional yet deeply compassionate care, they have focused not only on helping me break free from substance dependence but also on nurturing my emotional and mental well-being. Supported by staff with lived experience in recovery, they’ve created a respectful, private environment where each resident has their own room and the small group size allows for focused, individualized attention. This journey has been about more than overcoming addiction – it has been about rediscovering myself. The daily structure of therapy sessions, holistic wellness classes, and supportive mentoring has given me tools for relapse prevention and personal resilience. As I prepare for life beyond the Centre, I feel equipped not only with clarity and calm but with lasting growth – mentally, emotionally, and physically.

We love hearing about your treatment experience
