Evidence-Based and Whole-Person Therapies

LifeSync's therapies include cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing. Their experiential options include psychodrama therapy, art therapy, music therapy, eye movement therapy (EMDR) to reprocess painful memories, medication management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to reduce cravings, somatic experiencing, and yoga. LifeSync Malibu serves clients of all ages. However, they have special resources to help young adults 18-26 navigate work, school, or life challenges that cause mental health issues or addiction. Their certified psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists is familiar with identifying and addressing common symptoms like personality changes, rapid weight changes, pupil changes, and risk-taking behavior. Young adult clients participate in therapies to address underlying psychological wounds, build self-esteem, develop effective communication skills, and build trust.
