Momentous Recovery Group
About Momentous Recovery Group
Momentous Recovery Group is a small, comfortable program for adults who want real help with drug or alcohol addiction, including support for co-occurring mental health concerns. They offer medically supervised detox as part of a residential setting, so clients can stabilize safely and then immediately start doing the deeper work. With a max of around 6 clients at a time, groups aren’t overwhelming, and clients get plenty of individual attention.
Feel Seen as a Person, Not a Problem
At Momentous, the approach is built on a simple belief: people can change, and recovery is possible when someone has the right support, tools, and resources around them. Clients aren’t treated like a “case”—they’re met with respect, and they’re encouraged to take ownership of their recovery in a way that feels empowering. Because the program is individualized, the team can tailor treatment to what each person actually needs.
Wake up to a Routine that Helps
Momentous helps clients rebuild a livable routine with support, movement, and fun woven in. The on-site gym setup makes it easy to feel strong with treadmills, stair stepper, spin bikes, and full weight sets. Weekends aren’t just downtime either: there’s always an outing on the calendar with VR, go-karting, museums, or other adventures that remind clients how to enjoy life sober. Clients can also bring pets to treatment, which can add comfort during early recovery. And for those who need to stay connected, Momentous allows clients to use technology for work when necessary.
Step Out with Support Already Lined Up
After treatment, the team works with each client to map out what comes next (like outpatient care, therapy, sober living, and recovery resources), and because they have a network of trusted contacts in different states, they can help clients get connected wherever they’re headed. They’re also building a long-term community through an alumni Facebook group so clients still have people in their corner when life gets stressful.
