Momentous Recovery Group is a small, comfortable program for adults who want real help with drug or alcohol addiction, including support for co-occurring mental health concerns. They offer medically supervised detox as part of a residential setting, so clients can stabilize safely and then immediately start doing the deeper work. With a max of around 6 clients at a time, groups aren’t overwhelming, and clients get plenty of individual attention.

Feel Seen as a Person, Not a Problem

At Momentous, the approach is built on a simple belief: people can change, and recovery is possible when someone has the right support, tools, and resources around them. Clients aren’t treated like a “case”—they’re met with respect, and they’re encouraged to take ownership of their recovery in a way that feels empowering. Because the program is individualized, the team can tailor treatment to what each person actually needs.

Wake up to a Routine that Helps

Momentous helps clients rebuild a livable routine with support, movement, and fun woven in. The on-site gym setup makes it easy to feel strong with treadmills, stair stepper, spin bikes, and full weight sets. Weekends aren’t just downtime either: there’s always an outing on the calendar with VR, go-karting, museums, or other adventures that remind clients how to enjoy life sober. Clients can also bring pets to treatment, which can add comfort during early recovery. And for those who need to stay connected, Momentous allows clients to use technology for work when necessary.

Step Out with Support Already Lined Up

After treatment, the team works with each client to map out what comes next (like outpatient care, therapy, sober living, and recovery resources), and because they have a network of trusted contacts in different states, they can help clients get connected wherever they’re headed. They’re also building a long-term community through an alumni Facebook group so clients still have people in their corner when life gets stressful.

Practice Recovery in a Real-Life Day
Practice Recovery in a Real-Life Day
Mornings start with breakfast, then vitals and medication. Clients ease in with a morning meditation group, take a break, then move into a process group for deeper work. Later, they join another group and shift into life skills, building practical tools for life after treatment. After lunch, they finish with an afternoon group—sometimes restorative, like a sound bath.
Break the Party-Drug-to-Addiction Cycle
Break the Party-Drug-to-Addiction Cycle
Momentous can help clients safely detox and start treating difficult-to-treat substances like ketamine and nitrous oxide with a team that understands what it’s like when using party drugs becomes addictive. Clients get a plan that’s clear, support that’s steady when symptoms spike, and care that focuses on medical safety, tools, structure, and momentum.
Feel Understood from Day One
Feel Understood from Day One
Clients at Momentous feel genuinely cared for by a staff that’s down-to-earth and easy to talk to because they get it. When most people on the team are in recovery, support stops feeling clinical. Clients are met with empathy and guidance that’s grounded in lived experience, not just textbooks.
Heal with More Personal Attention
Heal with More Personal Attention
Momentous Recovery is intentionally intimate so clients don’t feel like they’re “in a program,” they feel like they’re in a place where people genuinely know them. Keeping the setting small supports more personalized, whole-person care and helps the day-to-day experience feel calmer, safer, and more supportive.
