Levels of Care

Everyone's recovery journey is unique. Whether it looks like residential rehab for 30 days, an outpatient program, or virtual therapy, you can find a level of care that fits your needs.
Detox
Typically the initial stage of treatment for substance use, focusing on medically supervised management of withdrawal symptoms.
Residential Rehab
Offering intensive care with 24/7 monitoring, residential substance use treatment is typically 30 days. Length can range from 14 to 90 days.
Sober Living
Not Offered at This Center
Transitional housing designed to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders offering a safe, supportive and structured environment for practicing long-term sobriety, while reintegrating back into daily living.
Day Treatment
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Intensive Outpatient Program
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) falls between inpatient care and traditional outpatient services, with therapy and skills-building activities designed to support recovery and provide flexibility. IOP is ideal for those needing support but not the 24/7 care of a residential facility.
Outpatient
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Virtual & In-Home Care
Not Offered at This Center
The delivery of therapeutic services utilizing technology such as video conferencing, online messaging or phone calls, allowing for flexibility, comfort and increased access to care.
Co-Occurring Mental Health
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.

Intake was a nightmare. They were having system issues and I was told to come back the next day. The videos and packets from groups are very repetitive and out dated. I was told it was a 30 day program but after being there they "clinically suggested" I stay for 45...??? Now I've learned that their php and out patient programs are $20.00 a day (which I will never pay). Also because I left "unplanned" I was unable to get a script for my antidepressants. I went to an urgent care and have a few until I meet with primary. On the positive notes, Tameko (bht) is amazing. My therapist Richard was wonderful. Also the food was good. Place is super unorganized and created some un needed stress, especially in early recovery. Warm wishes and if you are just getting clean..I'd keep looking.

Review from Rehabs.com

The facility is dark and uninviting when you first walk in the "intake" area. The staff appeared unorganized. When I arrived, the call center had to call the facility for me to gain entry into the building. It's as if no one knew I was coming. The nurses were arguing over who was going to complete my admission and the night BHT staff just seemed flustered too. After getting through a rough admission I thought maybe the next day would prove to be better. I just came too late in the night; I decided to stay and give it a chance. My first day on the unit was not any better. The food was not nutritional. Not to mention, this was a trigger for me. The supervisor ; very nice guy but every time I tried to voice my concerns about the techs lack of availability on the unit he said "I'll take care of it" but never did anything. I got the feeling he just liked having the title and not the responsibility but overall nice. I finally met my therapist, she was nice and I felt like she cared about my concerns and the issues I wanted to address while in treatment. The sessions just weren't long enough for me and it always seemed like she had another client to meet with. The nurses are staffed below standard and we were forever waiting long periods of time to get our meds. This was a problem especially for the many of us detoxing. The facility could of been a lot cleaner and more organized. I think it has the potential to be a better place but there not putting in a 100% effort from any of the departments as I see it. They never see their patients and I had to beg the nurse to send emails everyday and never was seen. If someone is looking to really get care while in detox I would recommend they go to a hospital then go to ORC when you won't need as much care. These people just don't have the time and honestly some of them just don't care. I will say the outings are fun and I enjoyed getting out of the building for movie days and church on Sunday. The activities offered were nice. The facility is short staffed 90% of the time and on weekends we never have enough BHTs on duty. The facility is never properly cleaned and the housekeepers look unprofessional.

It's an ok place to go for recovery if you're going to focus on your self and not on all the other nonsense that goes on but all in all some of the staff are great the house keeping on the second floor is beyond great ( ms. Luz ) but the one on the first floor sucks ( Ms. Audrey) but some are there just for a pay check and as for the one who runs the place I feel sorry for those who are coming after me because if anything goes wrong or shot hits the fan it gets swept under the rug and the employees who do us wrong as addicts just continue to work there to keep doing it to others who come in for treatment but as for me I focus on myself and my sobriety but I would not recommend it to no one.

The Recovery Center at Orlando did not meet Medical Standard of Care. The Orlando Recovery Center did not provided a late orientation only after i requested more information. I was lost on what my care plan would look like. The Orlando Recovery Center did not initially allow me to go to emergency hospital for Facility Induced Panic Attack. Only after i begged and had the facility call the administrator did they take me to emergency room. The Orlando Recovery Center lost my medications causing harm to me physically. My eye had to be patched, due to the center losing my prescriptions and they left me in pain for three days before anyone assisted. They prescribed a medication without looking at my health history, causing pain through withdrawals, and sleep deprivation due to worry about the potential for seizure as side-effect from mixing of medication. Treated with great dis-respect by kicking me out of a room i was assigned to. Additionally, ended up in a conflict with facility techs. Caused emotional distress, initiating a panic attack. I do not feel facility met my needs or medical standard of care in my case.
