I attended and graduated Pennfield in July 2010 and fortunately again in August 2015. I say fortunately because of my counselor "Pastor Bill", the program, the campus, structure, the genuine southern people and the importance of Jesus in recovery!!

Review from Rehabs.com

I attended Penfield in May 2015. The Lord Jesus Christ used the ministry at Penfield to change my life. I have not drank or used since the day I arrived over 6 years ago. I was saved while I was on campus and I have come to have a genuine relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I also was given excellent treatment and care by the staff. I was educated on the biology of addiction, the 12 steps, and the social implications as well. They worked with my family financially as well and went above and beyond to help me. I most likely would have died in my addiction if not for what I received from Penfield.

Review from Rehabs.com

I arrived at Penfield in December 1988 just before Christmas and the desire to drink or use any mind altering chemicals were removed. I believe the lord led me there. Ken Klun checked me in, Jim Vogt was the director and was on vacation. Not a doubt in my mind then or now God led me to Penfield Christian Home in Union Point, GA, a place where you could connect with your inner most self. I love this place and carried everything that was taught with me and still think of everyone that the Lord placed in my path. Still clean and sober after all these years and if I can do it, ( old crackhead) there is no excuse you can’t do it along with AA and the good Lord!

Review from Rehabs.com

I attended Penfield in 1997 and since I grew up in a strong Christian home so Penfield was no shock or surprise. To be completely honest Penfield saved my life!! After my time in Penfield I was ready to take on the world. I was married when I went up there, but things inside of me changed. After 20 months of sobriety I done exactly what the counselor said I would. One day after work I went "Fishing" with some of my coworkers. I had no idea that fishing was a code that they all used to tell their wives where they were at. Anyway, I hung back my old friends and the party was on. I still kept hearing a voice from Penfield. It opened the door for me again!! Now I have a new wife who truly loves me. Its really hard get sober without a hand up. That's Gods offering you a hand and you can find him at Penfield!!!!! My sobriety date is 12/27/2003. I couldn't have done in without Penfield!!!!!! In 2003 I used everything I learned from Penfield!! Its really hard to have belly full of liquor and a head full of Penfield!!! Thank you Penfield for saving my life!!!!

Penfield changed my life. It was a wonderful mind, body, and soul experience that ultimately brought me to a mindset of sobriety. I’m so very thankful for the grace bestowed upon me during my stay. 425 days of sobriety today, connecting outside of the bubble and submitting my life and will to God, He has proven stronger than I could ever imagine. He is the God of restoration, if only we we will admit our weakness. That is where He is made strong.
