About Southcentral Foundation Dena A Coy
Southcentral Foundation’s Dena A Coy Residential Treatment Program helps women—including pregnant, parenting, or non-parenting individuals—who are dealing with substance use as well as emotional or mental health struggles. The program offers residential care and supports healing through a Native-centered approach. Women can bring young children under age 3 to stay with them during treatment.
Whole-Person, Culturally Grounded Care
Dena A Coy focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Women take part in individual and group therapy, with topics like parenting, anger, healthy relationships, relapse prevention, and managing depression or anxiety. These therapies help women build coping skills, grow emotionally, and prepare for a healthier future in their families and communities.
Healing for Women and Mothers
Women share rooms with one roommate unless accompanied by a child, in which case they receive a private room equipped with a crib or toddler bed and changing table. Meals and snacks are provided daily, and the center is Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) certified. A 24-hour kitchen is available for beverages and light snacks. Dena A Coy offers a calm, caring space where women can focus on healing and rebuilding their lives with support and dignity.
