A residential facility based in Jacksonville, Florida for adult men and women seeking substance abuse treatment. This dual-diagnosis center specializes in both stabilization and relapse recovery, offering support to individuals no matter where they are in their journey.
Addiction Treatment Programs
The first phase of treatment begins with a drug and alcohol medically supervised detoxification, which may include medical-assisted treatment. Stepping Stones offers a wide variety of addiction therapy services and individualized treatment programs. Their treatment process includes individual therapy, group therapy, and a life skills training program. In addition to individual treatment, Stepping Stone can treat any co-occurring psychological disorders alongside the addiction. Their focus is building solid foundations through short-term inpatient stays and aftercare support, including their alumni program.
Family Program
The family program focuses on mending any hurt or damage caused by addiction. Their experienced addiction counselors assist families in establishing healthy communication and set clear boundaries that will support their loved one in recovery. Addiction education can help provide family members with a better understanding of the addiction and recovery process, increasing chances for long-term success.
Amenities and Environment
Stepping Stone Recovery Center is located within a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida in its own separate unit. Inpatient residences will stay in an environment set up to simulate apartment style living with shared living spaces. The amenities include a cafeteria, laundry room, community rooms, and recreational areas with games, television, and reading materials. Tobacco use is allowed in designated areas, and cigarettes and other goods can be provided. Once individuals reach a certain phase in treatment they are permitted to leave the premises within certain times. Transportation can be provided for necessary medical care and appointments.
